Why are we doing this?

We all like golf, none of us are very good; we are not members of clubs but have been in the past. It just occurred to us that playing golf can be very difficult if you are not a club member. Ringing around the local courses to find a tee-time and then coordinating that with your friends can be time consuming and annoying but the real tragedy is the number of times you can end up without a game because you don't have time to ring all the clubs or don't have enough information about them. Having done this for years ourselves we decided that there must be a better way. So TeeGenius was formed and the amazing thing was that when we first started speaking to clubs they felt exactly the same. They want new visitors but are finding it difficult to find and attract them.

Our mission is simple. We want to open up golf and allow you the chance to quickly search your local area for suitable tee-times, book and then play. We want to attract new people to the game and get existing enthusiasts to play more golf.

We hope that you understand where we are coming from. Thank you for reading this far in our story. We hope you try us out, come back again and again and, most importantly, play more golf.

We hope to be soon. We are still growing at the moment but it is taking time for us to get around the whole of the UK. If you want us to come to your area quickly then there are a few easy things you can do:

• Register with TeeGenius and you will receive regular updates from us and we will let you know when we are in your area.
• Use the "Recommend a Course" boxes that are dotted around the site to tell us about the courses you would like to book through us. We will contact them and do the rest.
• Tell all your golfing friends to do the same.
